Youth Ministry

St. John Paul II Youth Ministry seeks to explore and deepen the faith of our young Church through experiences of social justice, worship and community. We strive to foster a supportive environment of sharing, compassion, and charity. Our goal is to create a ministry that will give our youth the opportunity to recognize God’s presence in their lives and equip them to bring the Good News of the Gospel into the world as active members of the Parish community.

What We Do:

Middle School Youth Group (6th-8th grade)

Our Middle School group meets once a month on Sunday evening for games, snack, service activities, and discussions about our faith.  This group is to give our middle school students the opportunity to build and deepen relationships than they may be forming at school or in CCF.  Meetings are led by a team of adult and high school volunteers.

High School Youth Group (9th-12th grade)

Our High School group meets on the first and third Sundays of the month for games, activities, formation, and discussion on topics of living their faith in the world.   Meetings are led by a team of trained high school peer ministers and supported by adult volunteers.

Throughout the year we also have social events, mission trips, retreats, fundraisers, Peer Ministry leadership, as well as participate in diocesan and national events.
