St. Vincent de Paul Society
St. John Paul II Conference of
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul welcomes “all who wish to live their faith by loving and serving their neighbor.”
For those in need:
The St. John Paul II SVdP serves those in our parish at Nocatee and the nearby northern St. Johns County and southern Duval County areas by supplying food, clothing, housing assistance and other emergency needs.
If you are in need of assistance, please leave a message at (904) 330-0153 Ext. 4 or Stvincentdepaul@stjp2.net, and a Vincentian will return your call or email message.
For those interested in joining our ministry:
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering.
The Mission Statement is clear: Vincentian ministry is a means for acquiring holiness. The ministry of a Vincentian to those and with those who stand in need is the powerful means that affects holiness of life for the individual Vincentian. The principle means of holiness is ministry because, in attending to the needy and suffering, a Vincentian is ministering to Jesus Christ himself.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30 pm in the St. John Paul II Church at 127 Stone Mason Way, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081. Many areas of service are available including: answering telephone and email inquiries for assistance, home visits to those in need, and assisting with food drives. The St. John Paul II St. Vincent de Paul Society is funded by the generous donations of our parishioners to whom we are eternally grateful.
